Hunger is not a game
Have developed a pattern of catching on a little too late in the game.
But that aside, noticed a memorable scene in the aforementioned movie
where the character of played by Woody Harleson helps put Jennifer
Lawrence (another gorgeous installment in the Jennifer line-Garner,
Lopez, Aniston) 'back in line'. He reminds her, that she is tasked with
"distracting the masses".
Maybe this what the stars have to deal with. Here, we have grown
accustomed to ignoring the drama and finding the contentious issue or
piece of legislation that often slips past our eyes and becomes a law.
We suggest that you do the same. That you give yourselves a chance to
remember that as stars your main task is to light up our darkened sky.
So that in our misery we may believe again and wish upon you...and maybe
just maybe see our dreams fulfilled.
This movie though, is another creation by Hollywood which brings
together the fighter and the hidden camera and forces the protagonist to
survive against all odds. Is this the future? A time when a surveillance
conscious generation is awakened to some frightening reality, where one
group is pitted against another while a wealthier class watches in glee
at a distance?
It is becoming clearer from this side of the globe that two prominent
groups will define the future. Those with minds and those with muscle.
The former gets to engage, but mainly from the comfort of a console. The
latter gets to deal with your adversaries in a more physical manner.
Also of note is the strategy presented by the game maker...(R.I.P) Rise
in Peace who makes three remarkable suggestions, an attack on the black
markets, an increase in floggings and a rise in summary executions. The
first an assault on alternative economies that often drive revolutions,
the second the use of humiliation to publicly embarrass those who
descent and the third to sow fear into opposing forces.
