The Desktop Revisited (Help is on its way!)



For the sake of simplicity, i have created several categories for which the applications that sit on the IPad will fall.
The Apple Store has a different classification system and when it comes to purchase, spits all of this up into
free, for sale as well as for different iPad releases. Apple Store also takes care of the challenges that come with updates to their Operating System as well as the differences that may occur in regards to iPhone releases.

If you have a windows system, it is advisable to download a copy of iTunes (about 90 MB). The iTunes system is built to help you manage your apple devices as well as software upgrades (between 500-800 MB).

The categories below are my own based on some of my usage needs. You often will need to have an account through which the apple store processes agreements and confirms your identity. This will help you when you make purchases.

Education 2.0

Education 2.0 ? A few interesting but seemingly unrelated events are taking place as we speak. The internet is changing the way we think about education and the manner in which we communicate (socialize). At the centre of this dramatic change, groups like google realized a quite a while back that someone had to put all this new information in order for others to utilize. And so they invaded search and in some sense are attempting to monopolize it.  Universities and educational institutions chose not to be left behind and began initiatives in which they explored extensively the area of online education.
