Three Cheers for the Crew at Canonical

I also want to thank the crew at Canonical for providing my Ubuntu Server and Desktop Software and delivering it on time. I now at least have a copy of the desktop running (stated in a previous post) alongside microsoft's ageless Experience.

Canonical stand out because i requested the software in an email, and received it in record time.

Education 2.0 ? A few interesting but seemingly unrelated events are taking place as we speak. The internet is changing the way we think about education and the manner in which we communicate (socialize). At the centre of this dramatic change, groups like google realized a quite a while back that someone had to put all this new information in order for others to utilize. And so they invaded search and in some sense are attempting to monopolize it.  Universities and educational institutions chose not to be left behind and began initiatives in which they explored extensively the area of online education. The Timetable and Setup  The venue of choice was great. Friends have been there before. Weddings, ICT Events and Workshops similar to this one. The ICT event was much broader and had quite a number of breakout rooms. The topics that was featured were myriad as were the speakers.
